Your taste is the same as mine, Clarence. I liked it too! If he would crop most of the foreground, bringing the windmill up close and crop everything to the left of the tank I would like it even better. Bob M

With green grass lush in the foreground,
And pine clad bluffs in the back
It is beyond the realm of my thinking
What this picture of beauty could lack

But now as I gaze up toward the heavens
To that cloud-covered azure blue sky
Above a windmill and some beautiful horses
I know Soapweed won't go awry.

He can point that camera in any direction,
Close his eyes and then pull the trigger.
It'll be one of Soapweed's best pictiures
However it is cropped I'm inclined to figger!

Apology accepted. :) :)

It must also be considered that the picture was taken on the move, while sitting on a scratchy straw bale in a bumpy hayrack,
pulled by a shimmying jeep going plenty fast.

A picture is an expression of yourself. It is what you find interesting, pleasing, beautiful, or inspiring. If you want to crop, make it what is pleasing to yourself. In your minds eye you framed this picture before you pressed the button. You are the author, forget the rules. I think the foreground gives it the proper sense of space.
