Thanks for taking the time to let us know how the Spearhead is coming along Soapweed. I know you've all been busy.
Hoping your weather will hold, it sure makes calving a lot less stressful.

That is quite a hay hauling rig. How many axles? Self unloader I take it?

Are you going to keep some of your own calves as bulls ever?

Not sure. Six or seven total axles, I think. :?

Yes, it is a chain mover. It is nice to not have to be on hand with a tractor to unload the bales. He can even unload them in a faster gear which allows a space between the bales, for easier picking up with a Hydra-Bed.

Are you going to keep some of your own calves as bulls ever?

I'm thinking about keeping over some good bull calves. This might be the year. :wink:

Brady is helping another ranch with calving 300 AI'ed two-year-old heifers. When they get done, I think he will be available to help us again.
