Our congressman

Our congressman had his town hall meeting it was close enough to but I had a hay crop to take care of. Great time to have a town hall meeting. Most working people cannot attend. So what is left retired people. My cousin attended she works volunteer for the GOP county commitee. She is loyal. She called last night and talked to me. The question was asked about page 425 of the health care bill. He admitted he had not read it or any of the bill. Now how can any one be objective without reading it. Well him not reading it sure shut down any discussion on it. Why did he not read it. To long and a lot of it you cannot understand according to his staff. I will bet the farm the old man hollaring and shaking his finger has his son on SSI medicare, and what ever medicare does not pay is paid through Mediciad. He is afraid he will have to pick up more of the sons care. I can remember a time that there was no SSI, and people that did not qualify for Social Security. The family was responsible. Now kids do not have the time to take care of the parents when the time comes. The country we had in the past is in a transition period and changing. It will never be the same. President Obama should not have been elected, number one he is black number two not experianced. So how did he win. OH yeah the blacks supported him. There is not enough blacks so someone else had to vote for him. Wonder who. The flaming left wing liberals would be right wing answers. A lot of young people did, they can see what is happening and are starting to respond. The reason he was elected was he offered hope for America and the GOP did have any one that could gain traction. McCain was a flop. Right now the only one in the GOP ranks that looks viaiable would be Senator Lindsey Graham from South Carolina. Where is Ex senator First in this health care debate. He was a rising star and a Doctor. Surely he could add something to this.

Isn't Ron Paul a Doctor, what does he have to say about it?
Here it is in his own words. Listen: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sjuEdJ0DAGc
I think Ron Paul is smart and would make a good President. But if we had been elected he would be where President Obama is now. You just cannot challenge the status quo and get away with it. Money rules. Listen to the posts.

this video is from 2007 for the 2008 campaign.

What does Ron Paul think of HR3200? You were looking for a Doctor's opinion, maybe you should check into it.

Here he is talking about taxpayer funded elective abortions in the bill and the Government overstepping it's Constitutional boundaries

http://www.ronpaul.com/2009-07-27/obamacare-and-abortion/

there's audio of his weekly update on the website

That is what I have been asking and no one will explain....No congressperson has read this bill..there isnt even 1 bill its parts and piecemeal so HOW can we know for SURE what is or is NOT in it?

I agree having townhalls when everyone cant attend is foolish.

Ron Paul is the only viable candidate for the presidency. Unless the people can put together money and get a working man on the ballot. You give me that man and he has my vote. Common Sense not political affiliation should affect your vote. Not a D or an R. Hell bring back Ross Perot. Is he still alive???

Whoa, are my eyes playing tricks on me? Is this the 60's all over again?
I'm not an Obama supporter nor did I vote for the man, but that's just a little uncalled for.
