Lilly, I haven't been to Fredericksburg in 3-4 years but those pics brought back a lot of memories. Have sat, drank a few cold ones and listened to the picking and singing in the "post office/bar" man times. Never had the nerve nor stamina to climb "Enchanted Rock" tho.

I've never made the trek to the top. The first time we went out to Enchanted Rock was probably close to 25 years ago. I was sick that day runnin a fever, and felt horrible. So I sat under a tree in the shade while the whole family went up.

On this trip, I had no intentions of climbin that rock. It was 100 degrees, and I'm sure felt alot hotter on the granite. Met a man and woman comin down, and she said Never again!!!!! I'm sure the view is awesome from way up there.....but hikin aint my cup of tea. LOL Might be alright to try in the winter time. Long as there's no ice haha.

That sure looked like a great trip and some history too! So what was the occasion you got off the ranch? Thanks for this part of Texas that I haven't seen yet...

The "occasion" was a Swap Meet.....old car stuff. But MIL and FIL went...as well as Sister in Law, and the two girls.

I'm wondering if this was an anniversary trip too??? LOL 8 more days will make 25 years.
