The statement; "She didn't have the ability to go out and pick anyone she wanted," takes the thunder from your headline, don't you think, Reader? Maybe even makes it a bit MISLEADING?

Sandhusker - I don't have one agenda, unlike you. I value complexity. This is an interesting story. From The Washington Times, a conservative paper.

It's an intersting story because she only had two choices, and both of them were pro-choice? How is that interesting? How does that justify the headline?

Don't tell us that don't have an agenda.

What is interesting, commendable, and refreshing is that she upheld her oath to follow the state's constitution.....despite not having an appointee of her choice to chose from.

Politics is complex

Politics, in and of itself is not complex.

But as in anything, when it involves people.......

It's a game of lies and liars.

All we have to do is sort out the lies from the truth.........

I am truly amazed that when watching an MSM so-called "NEWS" broadcast, that the "Right" has any support left whatsoever. The lies are there also.

The message is so overtly skewed towards the "Left" that it truly upsets any balance of power, and any chance of positiveness in U.S. government.

You Moonbats have been, are are being duped everyday .......yet you still can't see it.

Please tell us how Sarah could have made a choice here and NOT have been criticized.

By the way. Zer0 could lay all the Kenya comments to rest once and for all.. Why doesn't he?

You don't get it. Politics is complex. It's interesting that Palin is positioning for a run for President in 2012 and that the way the Alaskan laws are written for judiciary appointments, she was caught between a rock and a hard place. It's interesting the decision that she made and whether it will affect her overall perception by her supporters.

It's an interesting story but of course it isn't the 1,000,000th story posted here about Obama being a Kenyan Socialist! So of course you found it boring.

You have only one tool in your toolshed, one rant in your arsenal. You claim to be interested in politics and so does Mike but when anything is posted outside a VERY narrow spectrum, you ignore it or resort to a personal insult. It's really telling, you know.

No, I get it just fine. You used a headline that was sensationalist and misleading, but you have no agenda....

BTW, Obama IS a Kenyan Socialist. Open your eyes.

I got fired for trying to reason with liberals. It violated the common sense clause in my contract. I've applied for a position with the Obama administration, but as I've always paid my taxes and have no socialist ties, I'm not holding out much hope.

Nice to see you at least have a sense of humor.

Looking at all the tax cheats, including Turbo Tax Tim (who seems to be having a hell of a time filling his dept.), all the morally bankrupt dems, and all the whacked out socialists Maobama brought with him, I'm not laughing.

The impression is given that she could have rejected both and sent back to the panel for new choices.
