This is kind of comical- especially coming from Fiorina- who almost bankrupt HP when she was CEO (and then got a $40 Million golden parachute  )-- but this is the corporate minds McSame has surrounded himself with....

Fiorina: Palin not qualified to run a company
Posted: 03:00 PM ET

From CNN Political Producer Peter Hamby

(CNN) – Carly Fiorina, the former Hewlett-Packard CEO turned John McCain Victory chair, said Tuesday that Sarah Palin isn’t qualified to run her old company.

Appearing on a KTRS Radio show in St. Louis, Fiorina was asked by the host, “Do you think she has the experience to run a major company like Hewlett Packard?”

“No, I don’t,” Fiorina answered. “But that’s not what she’s running for. Running a corporation is a different set of things."

If you think her word is the gospel, I'm sure you wouldn't have wanted to hear what she had answered had Palin's name been substituted with Barack Hussein Obama, when asked the same question.

Guess what oldtimer she never said Palin wasn't qualified to run the country!!

A doctor is not necessarly qualified to be a judge.

A judge is not necessarly qualified to perform surgery.

A sheriff is not necessarly qualified to having common sense, and your posts prove that, except your posts are nothing but cut and paste, that any 8 yr old can do!!!!!!!!

Can't give much credence to this woman. She's the failure at HP and then the guy asks this failure if Palin could run the company?? How the hell would she know????

Yep- thats what I thought too-- but its been reported she was on McSames "anything for Big Business" shortlist as a VP candidate- and as the article says is now heading up his campaign  Doesn't say much of his being a judge of people-- first Foreclosure Phil as his chairman- now Carly :???:

Oldtimer...here's some more of her comments to MSNCB

Yesterday, Carly Fiorina told MSNBC's Andrea Mitchell that Sarah Palin could not run a major corporation, but nor could John McCain or Barack Obama, for that matter. Running a business is different than running a country, Fiorina said.Guess your source left off the last part of this quote

Oh...and don't forget....the CEO's of FannieMae and FreddieMac are now Obama Economic advisors....doesn't say much for his judgement either. Only his loyalty to the party.

Lou Dobbs just tore into Fiorina and McCain for having such an incompetent working for him and called for her firing...Not only for her stupid statement the other day- but for her and McCain being the biggest supporters of sending American jobs and American industry overseas....

He specifically cited this quote she made earlier as HP CEO as she was calling for backing to move more jobs overseas:

"There is no job that is America's God-given right anymore."

Another interesting quote of hers I found she made after being fired by the board for running HP into the hole:

"The worst thing I could have imagined happened. I lost my job in the most public way possible, and the press had a field day with it all over the world. And guess what? I'm still here. I am at peace and my soul is intact. I could have given it away and the story would be different."

Well DUH- I could be pretty pleased even with all the bad press and losing my job in a public way if I received a $40 Million dollar severance package, including $21 Million in cash- but I don't think I could ever look myself in the mirror.... :(

OT you going and posting half truths and slanted things again. Where is Texan when we need him?

She said none of them running for President or VP were qualified to run a large corporation. If you would watch something besides CNBC where the cut off the lady with palin instead of letting her finish the sentence.

I doubt any of them have the qualifications to run a large Corporation either, different focus and different skills. That is why we have Cabinet Members to focus on specific areas. No one person is qualified to do all things. No one leader would make a good General and a Good CEO and a good diplomat and a good economist and a good Journalist.......President has to make good choices and appoint good people in specific areas!

That was what she was saying!

She only changed her story- and said none of them are qualified- later that night to try and cover the damage...

I have to agree with Lou- she's sure the one to be talking about who is qualified to run a country when she almost ran her last one into the ground- then ripped it off for $40 million in severance package

Like he commented- she is one of poster children of why our economy is the way it is- with her sending jobs and industry overseas- terrible mismangement of her company- and then getting a huge severance package for doing it.... And McCain is using her as one of his lead advisors

She's really more of a fundraiser...course you keep ignoring Obama's new economic advisors...(former heads of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac)

I saw the clip and where the stopped it and then I saw the clip in its entirety it was not a later clip it was the same one at the same time. If you KNOW something that disputes this then please let me know. Otherwise I suspect you are just making stuff up again!

A 40 million severance package who'd a thunk it?? Commonplace during this administration's tenure. And people get mad at workers trying to unionize. :? :?

What the hell does the administration have to do with the contract between a publicly held company and their CEO and other officers??

“Actually, John McCain attended his own fund-raiser tonight, where he raised even more money. He had dinner with his wife.” -Jay Leno

“But John McCain’s campaign said that Sarah Palin will not talk to the media, this is a quote, until reporters can address her with respect and deference. Oh, what is she running for, vice president or queen?” –Jay Leno

“Well, as you all know, during the interview with Charles Gibson last week on ABC, Sarah Palin did not know what the Bush doctrine was. But to be fair, a month ago, she didn’t know who John McCain was either.” -Jay Leno
