I do agree that it makes you wonder!

If no scandal, it sure seems a little early to be quiting to run for President. Maybe she is getting a fox show like Huckabee?

Don't worry if there was a scandal one of the dumpster diving leftwingnut hate filled Media personnel that have been turning Alaska upside down for the last year would have uncovered it by now. If there was a scandal to bring her down, those in Alaska filing the lawsuits would have used by now. They couldn't find anything and that is why they have resorted to making crap up.
If they had spent half as much time in Obama's dumpster maybe the voters would have known who is sitting in the Oval Office and who his puppet masters are.

You are always harping about the liberals here .....But why not challenge yourself or Hopalong or Yanack,..For you people are always searching posts of others here just to discredit them, you three are the dumpster divers of ranchers.........

Its ok for the mighty Tam to discredit people here at ranchers net or the President of the untied States ,but be dammed if the mighty Tam would disredit a conservative quitter From Alaska..How can anybody take you serious Tam?
Sorry I will believe Tam before I ever believe Kola or OT. Kola & OT have been proven a lier a couple times over. Sorry once you loose your word you are of no concern to me any more.
as for Palin waiting to get more info before I judge, same as I did with obama and everyone here.

Sarah Palin is a quitter. She can make all the excuses she wants. She, her staff, her supporters can all call her a fighter, but the FACT is she quit on the people of Alaska. She's walking off the job she was elected to do. I've really enjoyed Ed Rollins' comments about her since the announcement.

If you just listened to the statement and didn't actually read it, here's the link to her official website. She wrote the speech herself. Amazing that anyone would consider this woman ready to hold any kind of public office, much less President of the United States.

http://www.gov.state.ak.us/exec-column.php

BTW, she wrongly attributes her final quote to MacArthur. But Major General Oliver P. Smith, commander of the 1st Marine Division, is the source of the quote during the Korean War. MacArthur may have used it somewhere, too, but Smith is the acknowledged source by most historians.

But, hey, you don't expect the truth or accuracy from Sarah, do you?

http://korea50.army.mil/history/biographies/smith.shtml

And, yes, there are rumors that she's under Federal investigation for using building materials bought for the Wasilla sports complex in her new house. We'll see if those pan out.

All you have ever presented is RUMORS
Just like all the CAB bull crap you present too. lol lol lol
But hey you don't expect the truth from a CAB expert, Do you? :D :D

Did Maobama finish out his term of Senator, or did he quit?

Do you want to compare Sarah and Pinniciobama's statements for truth and accurcy? Do you really want to go there?

Those "rumors" that you speak of are exactly the reason that she's stepping down. She can't get much governor work done when she has to spend the first half of each day addressing libtard smear efforts.

First of all its YanUck, not YanAck,
Second of all, I'm not always searching for posts to discredit people, Kolanuraven asked, I answered, simple as that. I do not care for people who lie and then try to squirm out of it later. For example if the following were to be stated:
Soapweed said he thougth Herefords were the greatest breed of cattle, Sandhusker said R-CALF was a bunch of BS,
Mrs Greg said Wayne Gretzky was her favourite hockey player of all time
Jigs declared the CornHuskers his #1 team in college football
OT proclaimed GW Bush the greatest president the US has ever had
I'd call them on it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sarah Palin can't win for trying, first people say she shouldn't have dragged her family into the national spotlight, now that she stepping down she's a quitter. Has anyone ever thought that maybe she's just simply had enough? maybe she is done, maybe she's not, but I don't see the need for everyone to get their panties in a wad over it.

You find someone with a few morals and some scruples and look at the cane that gets raised. Maybe she wanted to not have alaska to have to foot the bill for some more left wing nut jobs lawsuits, maybe the 14 year old pregnancy jokes are over for a while, and just maybe she has the cohonies to do what needs to be done i e kick the chosen ones backside

Was Obama a quitter when he quit the Senate he was elected to, so he could pursue his personal desires to be President?

Was Hillary Clinton a quitter?

Politics is a Job, she can do whatever she wants and pursue whatever she wants to do. It is her business what job she has or what job she wants to do.

Maybe she should be respected because she steps down when she wants to pursue other interest or stop the rat race. Unlike Obama who took our tax dollars to be a Senator and then spent the whole time running for President!

You are a biased old bitter woman, if it was a Democrat stepping down you would have no problem with it, and you are to ignorant to even realize that about yourself!

  O the pangs of a disappointed suitor. She can do whatever she wants. It IS her business. But she still QUIT. She's still a QUITTER.

Hillary Clinton didn't quit when her husband was shown to the world as a cad. She gritted her teeth, ran for office and won. Obama didn't quit when the pundits said he didn't have a chance against the Clinton machine. They didn't "quit" their jobs; they were elected to a higher office.

Sarah Palin rambled on and on about why she was QUITTING. She didn't want to be a lame duck? Give me a break. Most every elected official is a lame duck at some time. Wants to be there for Trig? Give me a break. If she's on the road with her book and speaking for other Republican candidates, how's she there for Trig?

Now she's thought of some other excuses and posted those on Facebook. We may see more of them.

If she's tired of it, I don't blame her a bit. It's a tough road and she's done her share of back stabbing and stepping on others to get to the Governor's job. If she doesn't want to do it any more, say so. Don't make up stories and pretend to be the victim. Only a few die hards like you will believe the stories.

But the rambling speech she made on Friday is carefully recorded and stored away by Republicans and Dems, alongside her terrible interviews when she was the VP candidate, alongside the stories about the shopping sprees where she spent the McCain Campaign's money on clothes for her and her family. And the inter-campaign emails that just showed up in the Vanity Fair article that showed she's a liar. So if she ever decides to enter another Republican Primary, those interviews and speeches will come out and be played over and over again. If she should win the Republican Primary, the Dems will have a field day with the kookiness and instability she's shown.

It saddens me that Sarah bailed out early. She has so much to offer, but this won't help her credentials.

When Ross Perot originally ran for President in 1992, I was all for him and would have voted for him had he stayed the course. He temporarily dropped out of the election, but then got back in late in the game. If he would have stuck with his project, chances were very good that he could have won. Instead, all he accomplished was to muddy the water and steal votes away from the Republicans allowing Bill Clinton to win.

Thats kind of like having two employees. One gets a better paying job with more prestige so he quits. The other gets mad and leaves in a huff with nothing lined up.

Then that would make him a quitter. Liberal Hypocracy once again.

Nope I would never have called Bob Dole a quitter.

A quitter and a liar - but then we've already established that he's a compulsive liar.
