Obama sending jobs bill to Congress Monday

President Obama will again press Congress to pass his American Jobs Act during a Rose Garden event on Monday.

A White House official said that the president will send his legislation to Capitol Hill on Monday evening when Congress comes back in session.

President Obama will again press Congress to pass his American Jobs Act during a Rose Garden event on Monday.

A White House official said that the president will send his legislation to Capitol Hill on Monday evening when Congress comes back in session.

If it was that important, it could have been written when obama was on holidays @ the vineyard and sent to capitol hill the first day back, or he could have called them back earlier.


Or an even better idea would have been to concentrate on jobs 2 years ago, instead of passing a bill full of "pork" for other "have not" states.

If this bill was SO IMPORTANT that it has to be passed immediately (which in Obama terms means without reading it), then tell us Oldtimer why didn't Obama stay in Washington DC and NOT go to the VINEYARD to play Golf. Funny how things are only important when they don't interfer with the Obama's vacation schedule. :roll:

I think the US should have learned by now when Obama says PASS IT NOW it is time to slow the train down and READ THE BILL. If they had read the other bills Obama was stuffing through Congress maybe they would have known they were protecting AIG Bonuses, Cutting the taxes on Corp. Jets, Funding turtle tunnels and tatoo removal along with all the rest of the failed stimulus "INVESTING" Maybe just MAYBE Obama would have realized SHOVEL READY WASN"T SO SHOVEL READY before he wasted hundreds of billions of dollars to come to the conclusion he knows nothing about business.

BTW they just announced that Obama's plans on how to pay for Obama's new jobs bill didn't pass the Democrat controled Congress when he proposed the same tax hikes on the middle class before so what is the likelyhood it will pass with a Republican control House.

I see this plan as a way for him to set the Republicans up to take the blame for his inability to write a bill that even his own party will NOT support without bribes. Remember the Obama Budget. 97 - 0 :wink:
Will he job bill pass and if it doesn't who will take the BLAME?
