pasture conditions on PEI

Went to check on the cows today and took the camera,wish we were closer to some of you that are running low on pasture.

This old cow is getting close ,
anyone like to take a guess on her arrival date ,pic was taken on 7/27.

I can always tell when a cow is ready to calf (two feet showing)

What is a better way to tell?

Really nice pasture and well fed cattle,your province is inviting.Our daughters BF is from Cape Breton,we're planning a trip there next summer...you've{and Reader} convinced us to do a tour of PEI while we're in that end of country.

You can come on PEI via the 13klm bridge from NB and exit via boat to NS

Red country- The best trip in Canada is over the Confederation bridge and thru PEI; an awesome trip for a prairie dog! Make sure you are in a SUV or truck so you can see out over the bridge! Beautiful country and greeat people!
