The beginning...we went between those snow covered trees:

These cows knew they weren't where they were supposed to be:

Moving cattle in Canada in September:

And there is always this, whether wind, or cold, or sleet or hail:

This was the green hill that per posted pictures from last summer.
Looked a lot different when we were there. He did say
it cleared up later. Guess we'll have to go back next year and see
what it's like when it's green. It is some stunning country, for sure.
What a place to call home. What a grass producer that country is.

Mr. FH, per and Gene, pers nice, hospitable and fast driving father.

I have many more pictures that I hope to share. I just hope you don't get sick of them. We were so fortunate to meet so many of the good people
on ranchers.net. I hope we can repay their hospitality. More pictures to come...later...I am slow...

You're doing good...keep em coming! We won't get tired of them. After all this is the only way most of us get to travel and meet people

You will have to be there in January after a chinook has blown through to see that country with no snow. :D

Thanks for the photos FH, it was truly an honor to meet you and Mr. FH.

That was a fun morning Faster. Like gcreek said it was pleasurable meeting you and Mr. Faster. Travel is fun, but I'll bet just like for the rest of us there is no place like home. :)

Imitataion is the highest form of flattery...

Like I said, meeting the members of ranchers was the best part
of the trip...we were so blessed by your friendship--thanks again everyone for your hospitality.
I still have more pictures... :p

I think their faces were frozen .. :p
I can't believe all the snow you got Per during that cold snap, thank goodness that missed us . The cattle look really really good, chunky is putting it mildly.

Again, great pics FH .. :)
