Tibbs, OD/NT was looking for a Corgi for his daughter. His request is further down this thread.

BTW, my daughter had a Corgi she called "RD", short for Rotten Dog.
 :p

I think Corgi's are cute dogs and most seem to have personalities. The problem I have is the shedding. Is this just the ones I've been around or do they all shed alot?

They all shed a lot, and 24/7 365, especially after a bath. That's when the good time is to brush the heck out of them. They make up in cuteness, sweetness, personality galore and have no fear. More than makes up for having to vaccuum more often :)

Cattle Army my Corgi LOVES to be vaccumed. I'm serious. When I do my floors I have to get the hand tool out so I can do him too.

Thats comical because when Grandma fires up the vacuum- my Border Collies are all heading for the door or under the desk in my office to hide...
They hate that thing- and even growl at it if it gets too close.....

My Blue Heeler ATTACKS the vacc that I use in the basement, ( the only place the dogs are allowed in the house).

She'll go after it as if it was monster and will jerk it right out of your hand if you're not watching.

She's already ripped the wheels off one old one I kept for use down there.

To quote OT..."when grandma fires up the vacuum"...

WHAT DO THE DOGS DO WHEN YOU FIRE IT UP? :p

Too technical an operation for me  Grandma pretty well told me to keep my hands off them things after I almost burned the place up after overheating the belt in one- and stinking up the whole house...
