I just was looking at the Photo contest for action shots. I read Pig Farmers post on there and was reminded of something that happened last weekend. My family and I went to Rapid City, Saturday night and stayed to do some shopping on Sunday. Sunday morning I got up early and went to eat continental breakfast. So as not to wake anyone by turning on the lights, I just went in my gym shorts and tee-shirt. When I walked in the room there was an older gentleman getting breakfast. He said something to me that I couldn't understand, finally standing fairly close to me I understood. He was telling me that in order to eat breakfast I had to have my shoes on, he also made it clear that it was posted. I did not argue, he was right, I went back to my room and put on a pair of pants and my boots and came back to breakfast. The gentleman was still sitting there watching and taking advantage of every opportunity to complain to someone. I observed as he got up to get something to eat, as he sat down he did not remove cover. He was worried about someone's bare feet on a dirty floor and he did not have enough respect to take his hat off at God's table, not to mention indoors. I did not say anything to him although I was deeply offended. Rules mean nothing when they are inforced by someone who is looking for power, they are easily inforced if the inforcer leads by example.
