People's Republic of Boulder flooded

They had anywhere from 8-12" up in the foothills. It's starting to flood the platte river by Greeley all the way to Sterling.

We had anywhere from 1.5-4" out in my country, sure not a drought breaker but sure beats the 95+ weather we where having last two weeks. Got good moisture to get wheat up now. It was a good 3 day rain!

Hope shortgrass got some of this good rain also! Here is a link to some pictures of the flooding up in the foothills.

We've gotten about 4" here in the past week. It has been a real nice slow drizzle mostly, soaking in real good.

Temps have been upper 40s thru the mid 70s. A welcome relief. :)

Not sure which town near Greeley but Debbie's cousin lost her house and everything in it.

How sad! Hard to imagine going from drought conditions to 'flooding of
Biblical proportions' all in the same year. From one disaster to another.
Drought is bad enough, but flooding is much worse.

We had a fire up the road in June destroy several hundred homes. As of right now, we've gotten over 4" in the past couple days with more prior to that. It's welcome, but the flooding is unbelievable. One extreme to the next.
