I probably missed it somewhere but I'm gathering you play music. Can you tell me what you play and where?

A few yrs ago Greg and I were in Calgary at the Cowboy festival and we heard a guy,David Wilkie & celtic cowboy,or something like that. Played a cross between cowboy and celtic music,we LOVED his music.Have you ever heard of him,he was from Southern AB somewhere.

Mrs. Greg, I have been out the mainstream music scene for many years now. I mostly play with a loosely put together (musicians are old so it changes each time) group called Reg and Friends. We play at lodges, old folks homes, old timers functions and dances. Folks that need entertaining and appreciate old time music. I also play for a band of gypsies called the Kitchen Band. They play gazoo's, washboard, spoons, etc also at older folk venues for their pleasure. I usually play bass but dabble in a few other instruments. Both bands have violins, piano, banjo and depending on who is available a variety of other instruments.

As far a Dave Wilkie is concerned I am sorry I don't know much about him but will check him out. My nephew just joined Restless Lester, a bluegrass band out of Calgary. He is a fantastic banjo player and will be a real asset to them. If you like bluegrass, these guys are good and if you play they jam after most concerts.

And you never missed it I have never mentioned music on here. Spent the last year kind of getting to know everyone here.

I have 3 of David Wilkie & Cowboy Celtic CD's /cassettes. Excellent choice of music Mrs Greg! :D . I listen to them often. I believe David Wilkie maybe around the Turner Valley area.
I have.. Cowboy Ceilidh; David Wilkie Cowboy Celtic featuring the Cowboy Celtic orchestra; and Cowboy Celtic Collection.
