Mexico's peso remained under pressure on Wednesday morning, weakening past 20 pesos per dollar after Donald Trump's surprise U.S. presidential election win, but local authorities held off announcing any immediate mitigating economic measures.

After plunging to its weakest-ever levels overnight as Trump forged toward victory, in its biggest fall since the 1994 Tequila Crisis

I bet there is a shortage of Tequila this morning,.. :cry2:

A significant part of the Mexican gdp is those illegal dollars going south. Trump holds no ill to legal trade, but Mexico has a large dependence on criminal behavior. That's not a solid foundation on which to build an economy.

Along with much of California's. A friend that is a federal agent said that if narcotics were actually cut off at the border, that California would implode within a few weeks.

remember not long ago the criticism of the Texas republic?

Californians are calling for a 'Calexit' from the US — here's how a secession could work

The Yes California Independence Campaign aims to hold a referendum in 2019 that, if passed, would make California an independent country.

The movement has an impressive backer in Shervin Pishevar, a well-known angel investor who offered to bankroll a campaign to secede.

Shervin Pishevar was born in Tehran, Iran,

Insurection
See Article I, Section 8 of the Constitution, which states that Congress may call forth “the Militia to execute the Laws of the Union, suppress Insurrections and repel Invasions.”

[the United States] shall protect each of them [the States] against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence.

Seems to me the treasonous ----- should be deported. and if he became a citizen charged with supporting an insurrection, a treasonous act. I am sure with his good work he does in his professional life would be welcomed elsewhere.

I say exile all drug addicts to California & trade it to China in exchange for our debt. It's gone anyway and can't be salvaged.
