My mother sent me a picture of a saddle she just got into the museum last week. It was won in 1934 by Pete Grubb of May Idaho, riding saddle broncs in the Madison Square Garden, NY. Pete lived near mom for awhile when she was growing up. The saddle ended up being owned by a long time cattle buyer who is now well into his 90's so he finally gave the saddle up. Everyone always knew he had the thing, just nobody realized he was using it for his every day saddle, so it is pretty well used.
