A lonely ol' cowboy,,,,out on the plain
with few possessions....and little to gain
tried not to think about himself,,,but the interest of others
as he thought about cancer,,,,and his two brothers
And as he thought about God,,,as he rode into the night
and how satan himself,,,,transformed himself into the "angel of light"
he thought about himself,,,and the day of his death
as he thought about others,,,,how they would breath their last breath
He tried not to be selfish,,,,or have to much conceit
as he knew that salvation,,,,was only a receipt
with just his horse and ol' blue,,,,,he wondered who was at fault?
as he buried his head in prayer,,,,,and asked God for consult----------
