Assembling replacement heifer calves and their mothers, to wean soon
Cattle on the move
Swans on the fly
Moving some already weaned cows to new grass
About sundown, Peach Blossom and I decided to go to town, thirteen miles away, in our Polaris Ranger. We took the scenic route along the old railroad right-of-way, which is now devoid of tracks. Here, Peach Blossom has just shut one of the various gates along the old track
Bridge that was originally supposed to accomodate a hiking trail that never went in
Horseless carriage
The old railroad right-of-way
Old snow fence along the tracks
Telecommunication has come a long way
Remembering days gone by
More remnants from the railroad
It will be dark soon
Kind of a fun way to travel
Sandhills sundown
Old railroad trestle
Trecking down the track
Weeds skylined
