We have a "new" county road. Really it's an old county road that was left to grow up years ago. The county had finally come back in and fixed most of it, new culverts and rock on all but the last stretch to our back gate. Will be handy, cuts about 6 miles off the trip to the cow pasture. When the water in the creek gets up, we'll still be able to get to the cows.

Our second gas well. It's almost complete, then they'll move in a rig to drill an oil well on the same location.

Great pics Lilly,I wish I could take pics like you and Jassy do!

We ran down to our river pasture last eve. No cattle on it this yr because its natural grass and got a bit over grazed last yr. Its a grass one needs to baby. Anyway the thing about natural grass is all the "differnt" wild flowers that grow in it,depends on moisture and heat which flowers turn up any givin yr. The point being,I should have takin my camera, there were flowers I hadn't seen in the grass for a number of yrs.

I've noticed kinda the same thing. There are years we have certain flowers, then some years we don't. This year I know I seen several different flowers that I'd never seen before.

Interestin.

Cool pictures as usual...I just love the bluebells ya'll have...We're just like you, we have flowers this summer I hadn't seen in a few years,,guess the weather was just right to bring em out. Scary though Lilly, I just took a sunset picture of a post too! I just haven't downloaded to the computer yet....lol So do you get any good benifits of having a gas drill thingy on your property? I've always wondered how that works for a rancher/landowner, seeing wells like that popping up all over WY. Thanks again for the great photos..

Yes there's benefits. If you've got the mineral rights to your property, and lease the land. Some folks decide not to lease. But they loose out big time when they do that, because this is slant hole drillin. Which basically means. You could be a mile down the road from the actual well site, and still get $$ from a well. The farther you are away, the less you get.
