Here is LMG Gills Bull Dawg 8507, he is a Red Dawg son that we raised. He is a coming 2 year old. We sold 1/2 interest in him to a commercial producer for $4250 last spring. He used him for spring calving (Feb/March) and we used him on our summer calvers (May/June) We had to pull him after about 30 days as his tool had some swelling to it, but he is back to normal now and we plan on using him quite hard next summer. He is out of one of our all time best cows, who is a Buf Crk Barney daughter. I don't have THE picture yet, but I think these are pretty good. Phontypically he is very deep ribbed, easy doing, thick made, long bodied and has great feet and legs under him, and is about a 6 frame. I would like make his top line a bit better behind the shoulders, but other than that, I think he is pretty good. His EPDs are:
BW: 3
WW: 47
YW: 84
Milk: 18
TM: 41
IMF: -.09
REA: .23

Isn't it frustrating to have a good bull that you can't get a picture of that shows what he really looks like? I have a bull that is photogenic but is only average and a couple bulls that just can't show in a photo, but they are tremendous.

Those pictures don't make me think that is a bull I'd be interested in.

Maybe it is a photograph issue and he is better than the pictures but at this point I'd have to pass on the boy.
