Nice pics...the cattle sure look good!

And, babies, you're so lucky to have calves! That won't occur for at least three more months for us...so I guess I will live vicariously through your pics.

When is your normal calving season? I presume most Floridian cattle are fall or winter calvers, is this true?

Cool! Thanks for sharing...don't think you'll have a white Christmas, and at this pace we won't either! 45 degrees here and it RAINED last night. Now, that an oddity for the Dakota prairie in December!

Cheers---

TTB

We calve half in october and half in may. That puts pairs on Rye/ryegrass in december, millet/sorghum in may. Both are high protien, TDN feeds. Costs more than running on summer bahaia, gains pay for it though.

Wow I've never seen such green grass! Either your camera accented the green, or it's acutally that color...either way it sure is nice to see. We're green here for such a short time, and never that green..different grasses I know...but I'd like my lawn to be that green!! It does make me a little jealous though...70 degree weather...awwww no coveralls..that'd be nice!

These cool mornins and warm afternoons, all our jackets end up behind the seats of the trucks. I hafta go out and round em up about ever 3 days so that everyone's jackets are back in the house. We nearly all have a good jacket and a work jacket. So I come haulin in an armload. Get tired of askin, "Where's my jacket?" or hearin, "You seen my jacket?" LOL
