Since getting the new Nikon camera, I haven't been happy with the pictures it's taken. Here are a few from the new camera.

At the Vancouver airport May 11. Taken through the windows at the airport.

sunrise on the rocks. May 19.

Swollen river banks of the Bulkley River. May 28.

cows/calves and mountains. May 28.

raindrop on pine needles. May 31.

Sunset. May 30

Sunrise May 31.

High water levels in Francois lake causes the ferry crew to add several loads of gravel for the loading ramp. June 1.

Robin. June 3.

Wildflower. June 10.

mares and moon. June 13.

Indian Paintbrush bloomin' again. June 14.

Wow, those are some terrific photos.
So what kind of camera do you have now?

Its a Nikon Coolpix L120. I really don't like the camera. It takes very few good pictures. Definately no where near the camera my Canon was.

You know the photographer is always the worst critic of their photos.
You have some great ones.
I read on one of the photography forums that changing from one brand to another takes time....some never get over and go back to the first brand.
Have fun and keep shooting

The ones I posted are pretty much the only ones that turned out so so.

I just went to Vancouver with a friend that had an appointment with a specialist there. Got to have a nice visit with my niece though and got to see one of my sisters. She came over from Washington.

The only reason I can think of to go to YVR is to catch a ride to YYC. 8)

That would have been a great idea, but I ended up back at YYD. :)

The bad pictures far outweigh any good ones that come from this camera. :( . My old Canon never had that problem, it took good pictures most of the time and when it didn't, it was pilot error.

Should make a Ranchers.net calendar made up of everyone's pictures. :)
