Looks kind of short.

It;s an optical illusion JB. her depth makes her look shorter. You know just like the lack of depth makes a longhorn look longer.

Ohhhh, kind'a like some people can talk in a language we understand, so we assume they are smart?

Hey Angus.. Pictures taken on the same day? Almost look like to different animals to be honest.. First picture I kind of like (I hate judging animals in a still shot as the way they are standing, twisting or anything plays tricks on my eyes) but the second picture she looks a lot finer with not as much capacity as in the first... Again, my eyes are tired.. Her legs look okay to me, it is always a crapshoot to me when it comes to calves this age (guessing she is weanling from this year) as so much can change in 3 months to a year as they grow up and out. I have sene some awkward arse calves turn into real beauties that throw great calves and I have seen ones that look just great fall to pieces as they go over their first winter... Always interesting.

I think a few of you on here have an idea what good cattle look like but yet you will go against everything you know is right just to blow sunshine up this kids butt. From those pictures the calf looks like crap, it might look a lot better in person but all we have to go off of is the pics. I stand by my comments.

With your kind of attitude, why bother to say anything?
The heifer is already purchased. She is young. We are looking
at some pictures that aren't the best. Who squashed you when
you were young? This kid has more than his share of try and
it looks like he's had some successes.

And I stand by what I said about that heifer. She looks
broody in the first picture and to me that's an important
quality.

You can stuff it where the sun dont' shine. :!:
