Pics of our fats

Rkaiser and I went to the feedlot and took pics of our fats. Mine are all Galloway sired, out of our Angus/Tarentaise/Hereford/Shorthorn/Simmental mix of cows. They're all about 25-30 days from finished, weighing 1100-1150lbs. Not the best pics, but if I had remembered to charge the battery, there'd be more of them.

That was the same thing I did...Took one look at that baldy-- and was thinking how good he'd look hanging on my loader tractor- loading into the butchers outfit... :) :)

How about a couple from the other pen there purecountry - I know black is beautiful --- but. These galloway cattle came from Northern Ranchers country last spring, and like the black beauties of purecountry's they are on our natural program and have recently been moved up to their max of 60% barley. Today was a good day for the marketing team with a couple more potential buyers to ad to the list. Who says them Merican's are the only ones who can sell natural beef?

Were these from George's or Newton's-the pics never came up so I can tell lol. I'm going to have some of the wee shaggy beggars born here next spring. Those baldie heifers at Million's are the real deal for sure.

I just got off the phone with Newton-they've run quite a few Angus bulls from us over the years but Newton was complaining that if they're only going to last till they're nine they'll be going somewhere else lol. They ran some 'ear' heifers for me and bred them Galloway so should be intertesting. Those fat cattle look good to me for sure.
