Last night's moon
Preg checking 30 heifers today. There were three opens.
My cousin and friend, JF Ranch, kindly loaned me the use of some of his corrals today. I appreciate it very much, as any other facilities were quite far away.
Completely competent cowgirl
There is always an air of mystique surrounding the secretive preg checking job.
Gathering a hilly pasture in the afternoon
Our ranch buildings in the far off distance
Our ranch buildings sucked up closer with the aid of a five-power zoom lens on the camera
A doe deer darting behind a soapweed
Dear Peach Blossom darting behind another soapweed
Putting a bunch of cattle up in a fence corner to separate big steer pairs from smaller steer pairs
Yellowstone acting scared of his own shadow
Goose giving the cameraman the evil eye
Trying to look mature, profound, and bosslike--not an easy task. :?
Cattle on a meadow
Closing the last gates of the day
Unsaddling our ponies after hauling them home
Saddletramp and his coon-tailed Kadoka horse
Pullin' my riggin'
Guess I must be whistling a tuneless tune
