Pictures from Caleb in Iraq

Caleb has been sending me pictures so I thought I'd share. His unit looks for roadside bombs and he drives a Cougar. This is a quote from his last letter
I sent you some pictures, one of them is my vehicle after it got hit. As you can tell it didn't do much to it. It took some chips out of the window and blew the muffler that runs across the top of the vehicle.
Like that's going to make me sleep better :???: Especially after reading Kola's post. Anyway here he is with his Cougar

Good looking pictures Nicky. Looks like a pretty tough rig he's in to me if that's all the damage it did. Is he enjoying his tour or is he homesick?

I don't think he's too homesick, at least he hasn't said so in his letters. He tried to call a couple times last week, the two days we were riding, so we missed him. Now, when I'm in he doesn't call :?

I will thank him...or you can

Thanks for sharing his address with us, Nicky. I'll see if I can get something together for him and send from town tomorrow, when Al goes to see the ortho doc.

Great pics, too.

Thanks for sharing Nicky, I was going to ask you for the address and you already got it on here. Have to send him some stuff to let him know we say thanks, and to keep sending the pictures. I don't know how we did it but somehow with all of the screw ups in our society, we have raised a new generation with some very good young men and women in it. WE need to look at these positives, not all of the negatives that the media uses to sell it's product.

Hanto Yo already had his address from the first time I posted it :) I'm just back from town from mailing a box to him and sw's man. Now that I've got it figured out I can do it from home and the mailman will take them.

Thanks for sharing your pictures Nicky. Seeing the Buffalo and casspir (Cougar) being used at last makes me more confident in the troops safety, we detonated two TM 46 mines driving prototypes of these vehicles and I wrote to newspapers in England and here about them, and even sent information to Ft Bragg as thenumber of ambushes etc increased. An exelent book if you can track one down is "Taming The Landmine" by Peter Stiff Galago publishers.
As always, my familie's thoughts and prayers are with all those serving in Iraq and Afganistan!
