Been awhile since I've posted any pictures. We got all our hay put up before September this year. We had a great crop and got it all put up in good shape, all the rain went around us. We sure could use some rain now.

Here's a few photos from the last month.

Outstanding hay crop Ned and some impressive bucks.

Do you see much winter kill on your Timothy? I plant it in my meadows and it looks like a pretty good stand, the following year after establishment, and boom, the next year you can hardly find one plant remaining.

Our Timithy comes back every year. I wonder If it might help to let yours go to seed before you cut it for a year or two? I know it wouldn't make the best hay but it might help it get better established.

Well Ned, I saw you had posted pics and I was all looking forward to seeing some more of those deep, thick Hereford bulls, and you lay me out with a shot of big buck pictures. Didn't see that coming, although I do remember you posting some of the ones from last year.

Thanks for sharing. If you see a little pointed head with a bearded face creeping around in those pastures in the early morning mist, don't worry, it's just me. My passport's in order, all I've gotta do is pack the guns n' gear.

We're feeding them our high altitude grass hay. Some of the pictures are of bucks on our land some are on the neighbors. The 6x8 buck was in our hay field.

Lots of little bales. Do you have a balehandler for your tractor? Do you feed them or sell them? Nice bucks too.

We sell and feed our hay, all in small bales. We have two tractors set up like this one. They carry 15 bales at a time.

Thanks, I thought you might enjoy seeing them :D . I believe it's all draw for the rifle seasons and over the counter for archery.
