Did you get to Old Town. The best meal we had was at the old open air restaurant there with a huge fountain and birds swooped around chirping and drinking all during our meal. so pleasant.
What did you think of the bay? We went whale watching and at the same time the harbor was abuzz with low flying helicopters, a submarine and two boats doing maneuvers- they may have only been salvage ships- but surely was the place to see action. Was Balboa Park the place with an Indian fountain with water pouring out of her water jug and lots of reconstructed old buildings? Maybe you'd better post some pictures to jog this old memory.Tap said:nr said:Tap said:I have quite a few pictures from our trip to San Diego. I am not postive what is considered Old Town for sure nr, but we went to Balboa Park, and hit the museums there. I think maybe old town is right near that area. The museum of Natural History is quite a place. You could spend days around there and not even scratch the surface. Seaport Village is an interesting place too. It was rainy this time we were there, but I remember in the past seeing all the interesting people trying to make a buck with their own brands of entertainment.
All of it has it's own uniqueness.
