I was commenting on his good feet not annointing him as the greatest bull in all traits. It is a grand day indeed to find a good uddered Hereford-a good footed Angus and a good natured Minnesotan. To be honest I've never looked a a CED or MCE EPD in my life in regards to selecting a bull.

Why not just use that good footed bull from last year is all I'm saying. Oh and I am good natured have'nt you ever heard of "Minnesota Nice :D

"No matter how hard we try we can't ruin them all" thats a good thing.

I must be the luckiest guy around as I have'nt got a foot issue in my herd other than a few old cows and I can say with all honesty that I've never trimmed a hoof on any cow, bull or calf here. And my horses have'nt been trimmed in 3 or 4 years.Guess were lucky but I do see my son's Dorset Ram needs a trim.

That good footed bull is sitting in my pen right now with 65 calves coming off him. Unfortunately my Spondin partner likes him so much he wants him this year. I'm always looking ahead to what to breed a bulls daughters too. I don't think I'll ever stop trying to make feet and udders better in the cowherd.
