I have been reading this site for a number of years now and would like to say that I have learned a lot. A lot from the likes of Scott, RobertMac, Econo, Brad, and especially Ben, but I have yet to learn anything from you Jason. Your recent arguement with RobertMac is simply astounding. The statements that Robert makes about fat was an incredibly simple way to support the best protein product that I know of. Yet Jason still wants to argue.
Oh yes I forgot that I learned something from Oldtimer (Willowcreek on our Canadian site) as well. As long as that old willow tree has any life left in it at all, a woodpecker will have a hard time splaining how he only wants him to understand that he is only trying to help.

And just how well has the low fat/high carb diet recommendations been working? There is one thing about the Atkins' diet that can't be easily refuted...it worked!!!!!! If calorie intake is the only criteria to make an animal fat, why aren't we feeding fats and oils to finish cattle instead of carbs?
Fat calories slow the digestive process so you feel full longer.
Fat calories contain essential fatty acids. (Essential fatty acids have to come from diet)
Fat calories contain vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients.
Fat calories make food taste good(the food industry uses high fructose corn syrup to make food taste good)
Animal fats are a know substance to your body...hydrogenated vegetable oils aren't(trans fats)
