This got me to thinking:

we all use labels to try and differentiate one from another.
isn't/shouldn't there be a TRUE definition for every Label?
ie: some call bush a conservative- I think of him as neo conservative.
So what is a Conservative?
What is a neoconservative?
What is a Liberal?
What is a progressive?
What is a socailist?
Don't the bottom four just fall under the label statist? And by calling bush a conservative, if that is the definition of a conservative, them aren't all of them correctly labeled statist?
so then maybe the rub isn't dem/repub or conservative/liberal but rather (Label) v.s.statist?
What label properly fills in here?
yes yes rightwing nut blaaa blaaaa blaaaa! all sarcasm aside now please!
This is maybe the problem with letting the media redefine words!

You are welcome to call me a liberal all you want, especially if it helps differentiate me from yourself.
