Just to make life interesting, yesterday morning at about 6 am there was a heck of a ruckus out in our pasture. The cows were going nuts, roaring and carrying on. So I went out and looked, and sure enough, Big Yellow Coyote was lurking around. (He's been around here so long we know him by sight.) So back to the yard I go, and open the gate to release Gordon the donkey. That's Gordon on the left.
Well, about 6 am this morning, sure enough, the cows started to roar again, but this time they got about three moo's out before a great big heehaawww.... sounded out..... Instant silence. 8)
Big Yellow Coyote and Gordon go way back. He didn't have to be told twice that the gate from the yard was open. He'll probably have to move to the neighbour's now. In which case, he may get another surprise, because they bought a jenny from me this spring.
