Windy all day. But the front finally arrived and brought with it some long prayed for moisture. It’s a wonderful sight to see snow on our mountain.

Loading some hay in the snow. Lots of people are running short of hay around here and I am almost out of hay as I have sold it all as of today - just have to load another 30 or so bales and we are done.
Best to all,
BC

Probably not a true ranch photo, but they come every day to eat in the barn yard. The snow is so deep that they cannot forage so we feed them. They always walk in and fly out.
Hope you enjoy the pics.
Best to all.

We help God's creatures too. You don't see many photos of turkeys in flight. That was neat. Thanks for sharing.

Bobcats are heck on them. They go up on the limb
In the night and make turkeys into a midnight snack.
Years ago when Mr. FH was trapping, he used turkeys for bait. We didn't like them because they got up in the trees and dropped their poop in the feed bunks. Some say they cause coccidossis in cattle too. Regardless I sure enjoyed Broke Cowboys photos of them. My dad worked in a turkey kill plan for a short while, he didn't much care for 'sticking' the turkeys.

She was born on saint patty’s day but here’s some pictures of the girls not all our cows but the rest of em are off grazing right now. So I’ll get more when I can!

I would check the navel on that black bull calf, looks like it may be a bit swollen.
We’ve checked he just has a very long one sounds weird to say but no we checked cause we were concerned aswell but it’s just really meaty if that sounds right? Or just to be strait forward we got it checked it’s not swollen we had it checked by a vet 2 days ago :) thank for your concern though

Absolutely beautiful pictures............beautiful!

Since I've been unable to get around any fully-operating farms or ranches, the photos I've taken are of wildlife and scenery in Rocky Mountain N.P, Yellowstone National Park, PRCA rodeo action, parades and Fairs.

Have numerous shots of 4-H and FFA members showing livestock at the Colorado State Fair, Great Western Stock Show & Rodeo in Denver, CO and the Larimer County Fair. Got photos of the Cheyenne Frontier Days Parade and the Greeley 4th of July Parade. Two big parades.

We've been in Rocky Mountain N.P. for the Elk "rut" in September, visited the upper and lower parts of Yellowstone and drove thru Custer State Park in South Dakota.

Actually, when we lived here before, we took Trail Ridge Road all the way to the top (Summitt) at 12,183 feet. The highest paved road in North America. Went up by way of Estes Park, over the Continental Divide and down thru Grand Lake. Very interesting and very high.

I took a picture of a full-size Bull Elk, in Yellowstone N.P. that we have hanging on our living room wall.

Have some photos taken at Centennial Livestock Auction in Ft. Collins.
