Haha.....we just call it the Bar Ditch....ain't no Barrows in it. Unless of course you push the Wheel Barrow off in there. :wink:

I've heard others refer to it as a Bar Pit.....

yeah the whole bar ditch thing was new to me to when I moved to texas....but barrow ditch...that is way off....we just called it the road ditch!!!!

Thank God for her improvment. I Can't claim I spent alot of time praying, but I did say a little one when I read about it.

I heard "bar ditch" all my life growing up and didn't know it was "borrow ditch" until I went to work for the Highway Dep't. for a while. Dirt road technological terminology, meaning the grader "borrows" material from the ditch to contour the road.
