Everything's looking good!!! Thanks for sharing, Soapweed.

What horse did you sell?

The horse I sold was a dark bay paint that I bought at the last horse sale. He was pretty broncy, and I'm getting old enough that I don't bounce very well. Paid $800 for him, fed him good grass all summer, and sold him for $560. Why would I go to a casino when I can have more fun going to a horse sale to throw money away?

I guess if you buy back on the same market you sell on, it all comes out in the wash. The nice little yearling registered stud colt only cost $250, and the three-year-old registered gelding with sixty days riding only cost $950. Figured I couldn't go too wrong, and it was several hours of delightful entertainment watching the horse sale.

She has her hobbies, and I have mine. She's always nicer to me after my bum horse deals than I deserve. :? For that I thank her. :)

I'm with you, Soapweed. I just literally  a horse sale.

Mr. FH could care less about one. He doesn't like bull sales either.

So, he goes to a few horse sales with me and I don't make us
go to bull sales. That's teamwork.

We watched the Gordon sale on the T.V. it was fun to watch and an interesting concept for so few horses. Looked like the rope horses were the high sellers and some nice ranch horses from the sale video seemed to go more then reasonable.
