Oldtimer did you see President Bush is in Billings, and did you go? I doubt if Mr. Obama would lower himself to come to Montana

Never even heard/saw anything about him being here- but Billings is about 600 miles from here roundtrip-- and not worth traveling that far unless we are talking bull/cow sale, rodeo, or PBR...
And Obama was here (Bozeman/Belgrade) hosting a health care forum a couple of years ago... Michelle Obama has been to at least a couple of places in Montana (Billings was one)...

Whoda thunk it...the chances of that were extremely high. After all she's been almost everywhere

Unless it is for a photo op., obama does not show up to the same places Bush goes.

I heard about the one leg bike rider. Just amazing and heart wrenching at the same time.

God bless the veterans.

Hasn't GW made this veterans bike ride an annual affair?

Obama Cancels Weekend Montana Vacation

President Obama has canceled a vacation to Montana scheduled this weekend, local police confirm to Fox News. The first family was slated to visit Whitefish, Montana from July 8-10.

"He was coming in for a brief vacation, we were gearing up until last Friday, and then heard from Secret Service it was canceled," Whitefish Police Chief Bill Dial said.

Something fishy about Obama's Montana visit

the U.S. president took advantage of his trip to Montana's Big Sky country on Friday to try his hand at the Western pastime of fly fishing.

His original plan for a 30-minute helicopter ride to a fishing spot at the O'Dell Creek Ranch was nixed by rainy weather.

Instead, after hosting a healthcare townhall meeting in the rustic town of Belgrade, Obama traveled by motorcade to a nearby private ranch set against a misted mountain range.

The meandering East Gallatin River runs through it and the fishing hole there was apparently deemed acceptable for presidential use.

Although the press pool was kept at a distance with its view mostly obscured by trees and overcast skies, Obama's entourage was spotted headed to the riverbank with fly-fishing rods in hand.

But that didn't last for long. Driving rain soon forced the party indoors at a sprawling ranch-style mansion.

President Barack Obama took a break from health care talks to do some sightseeing with his wife Michelle and two daughters Sasha and Malia.

The first family spent Friday night at a lodge in Montana where Obama went fly-fishing -no, he didn't catch any fish – and Michelle, Malia and Sasha went white-water rafting.

The next day they took a helicopter ride to Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming and accompanied by his sister Maya Soetoro-Ng her husband Konrad and their daughter, the party drove through the park in a motorcade, and even stopped at the Old Faithful General Store where the President and Malia deliberated over which flavor ice cream to purchase.

Next stop on Obama's weekend tour -Grand Canyon National Park.

yep fly in for a "townhall" and it is on the taxpayers dime..

but when it was on his dime.. he cancelled...
