So oldblow hard, are you changing your stance from the last 24 hours because your rapist hero says something contrary to you? You did say that it wouldn't be feasible in another post did you not?
I say quit sending our money to other countries and use it here to strengthen and rebuild this nation back up to first class standard and not third world standard!

Nope- I'm not changing my stance- and I've long supported getting out of all the other countries business and using it here to rebuild this country....Think of the Trillions $ GW stuck in a sandpit that could have been used to help the folks of this country...

I was just wondering what the Texan and the rest of the R culters thought- now that it was something suggested years ago by Bubba (a D).... I remember how for 40+ years R culters and conservatives supported the mandate for Health Care Reform--until Obama and the D's agreed and backed it-- then it was suddenly an untouchable subject and should be avoided like a Leper...

Will you back your gun toting R idol Wayne LaPierre now that you found he got the idea from Clinton... :???:  :p

Hey oldwindbag, haven't you posted here that you supported GWB in many of his policy moves? Yeah, you did. Guess that makes you an R culter too.

And here, I'll save you having to type a response. Just copy and paste the following:

I supported King George until I watched 845 hours of testimony on CSpan where various pubs called for him to be arrested and where he told banking regulators to take a 4 year vacation. I also supported him until he changed sensitive reports submitted to Congress. Please don't ask me to support any of these assertions because I can't.....but if you read all my posts here on Ranchers Forum you'll see that I'm an upstanding guy who never lie to make a point, or puts words in other's mouths.

P.S. I'm really quite conservative.

Wait! Was it a 4 year or an 8 year bank regulator vacation?

Yep- just like the former CFTC commissioner testified to Congress months ago- when he also testified that the CFTC commissioners had been told to "take an 8 year vacation" by GW...

Yeah, and ask him to provide a link to a single one of those silly assertions and he can't do it. He can't do it because they don't exist, except in that koolaid/alcohol soaked brain of his.

One thing I realized long ago was that the most miniscule bit of negative news about GW was picked up immediately by the liberal media trumpted far and wide, repeated ten thousand times, and whether true or not, became fact in the minds of millions of koolaid cultists like OT.

1) GW telling regulators to take an 8 year vacation
2) GW altering sensitive documents submitted to Congress
3) Pub lawmakers being so upset with President GW that they called for his arrest.

Really?

Still waiting for a single linky OT. Provide one and I'll gladly retract my claim that you're a senile tool of the left.

It's the only common sense answer to the problem. I think Clinton's proposal was made during an assault weapons ban.

sometimes the whole story should be posted..

Today, the same elite media who no doubt send their own kids to private schools that employ armed security, just can't stop howling ridicule at the NRA's idea to give every student in America those same protections. Because the NRA's idea is so appealing, as I write this, the media's going overboard, mocking it as bizarre, crazy, and out of touch.

In their zeal to rampage this left-wing agenda, the media has apparently forgotten that back in 2000, on the one-year anniversary of the Columbine shooting (which occurred with an assault weapons ban in place), President Clinton requested $60 million in federal money to fund a fifth round of funding for a program called "COPS in School," a program that does exactly what the NRA is proposing and the media is currently in overdrive mocking:

most conservatives and republicans can accept that Clinton did sign several meaningful laws...

sure wish those open-minded tolerant liberals could as well,...

so far.. in the last 19 years we have spent nearly 16 billion putting COPS in school and communities..

and now that is a "bizarre, crazy, and out of touch" idea according to liberals..

a bit ironic... it would be comically ironic if it wasn't such a horrific tragedy..
