seems whenever the democrats are confronted with a different view they attack it..

I have been to two DC tea party protests, one local April 15 protest, and within the last week a meeting to organize for a local candidate for congress. while I am sure some of those present may be racist and bigots.. none showed any behavior other then polite and peaceful..

the latest media blitz is to make out the Tea Party activists as something other then they are..

(but then again I have been accused of being a racist hatemonger as well) and it is about as far from the truth as it could be..

If they don't like the message they discredit the messenger, we have all seen it right here on Ranchers many times. Nancy Pelosi claimed they were astroturf and others took her lead and have used much worse names. But just like we have learned here on Ranchers the nastier the names the more they are trying to distract from what is really going on. Don't be fooled the Dems attacked Sarah Palin because she was a person with the ability to stir up the Conservatives and they are doing the same to the Tea Partiers for the same reasons. They fear what the Tea Partiers are going to do to their support with the independent and soft Democrat voters PLAIN AND SIMPLE. Look for the names to become much more nasty the closer you get to the Nov. election.

seems to be growing. a short time back a recall petition was talked about to recall one of our senators... the media has ignored the story..
but it is gaining steam... and peaceful signatures...

t has apparently never been done before, but a Tea Party group in New Jersey has won the first round in its effort to recall a U.S. Senator — Democrat Robert Menendez.

“We are loathe to strike down a component of our State’s charter [Constitution] that fortifies the democratic role of our citizens,” an Appeals Court panel ruled Wednesday morning.

Tea Partiers upset with rising taxes tried last year to get permission from New Jersey’s Secretary of State to begin a petition recall campaign against Menendez.

When that was denied, they went to court.

The case — which puts the state in the unusual position of arguing against its own law and calling part of its constitution unconstitutional — began last fall after then-Secretary of State Nina Mitchell Wells rejected the committee’s notice that it intended to begin a recall effort against Menendez. The removal process requires thesecretary of state to approve such a notice before a recall committee can begin generating petitions.

A state appellate panel today ruled New Jersey's secretary of state must accept a petition a citizens group filed to recall U.S. Sen. Robert Menendez.

The court stayed with its decision to allow Menendez (D-N.J.) to appeal its ruling.

NJ Tea Parties United and the Sussex County Tea Party have said they want Menendez, (D-N.J.) recalled from office
