The last few days trade seemed to be slow on fats with 3-5 cents between bids and asking prices. The futures boards showed a little positive then yesterday the packers bought at the asking price.
Whats behind this? Did someone underestimate the supply of fats? I know Canada hasn't been able to ship the vast numbers R-laff said we would, but that was always just a blip anyway.
Kinda shoots the theory that packers control the price, feeders called the price this time.
