One thing I think that is hurting Lou Dobbs is the fact that he is taking too much time off. As good as his replacements are, none come close to Lou who imo is still the most credible/objective broadcaster on tv. I can't say that I blame him if you have the vacation time coming though. I might add that Beck is just riding on the coattails of the other popular Fox News shows. Put him anywhere else and imo his viewers will drop. JMO

I watch Dobbs occasionally. He usually has an insightful show. But CNN is insidious to me.

Beck is passionate about what he does but goes overboard with emotions at times. He's a lot better than Hannity to me..

Wish you guys could have seen Dobbs when he had Barney Fwanks on and called him out for causing & covering up our financial mess. At one point when Barney started hollering at him, Dobbs told Barney to shut up and let him finish or he would go to a commercial.

This was about 2-3 weeks ago and about as funny as the student that gave Barney hell for it...............

it seems that most of us are interested in politics, and would be classified as the 10% that are truly educated about the issues, maybe even obsessively

What worries me, are those that can be lead astray more easily and the media being more political than factual

State run media is very dangerous.

They may not finance the liberal media, but there is a definite problem with morning conference calls to discuss strategy and message, when that call is being conducted by the Whitehouse!

"the facts, just the facts"

Lou Dobbs just works the script they give him....he better stay where he is.

This guy isn't on tv, he is on talk radio (XM 165 or 166).
His name is Jason Lewis and in my opinion he rates at the top.

Guess I'll go a search and find out more about him.
