Did anyone look at who stands to gain by this ruling-- good old CORPORATE AMERICA... The Walmarts, K-Marts, Hiltons, Tysons, Enrons--big industry people-- I think in this case it was an apartment building developer....As long as it fits under the definition of increasing the local economy and tax base.....

We need a new tax base, so we''ll take your house you lived in for the last 40 years, or your multi generation ranch and let them build a new Walmart or refinery or expand Texas Feeders feedlot....In the name of economical progress......

Looks to me like this isn't a "Liberal" ruling but another "Big Bucks Backers" ruling........... :? :???:  Yeah thats what we need is a few more trade agreements and rulings like this for the "good of us all"....."Bigger is always Better", right?

Liberals killed the Bork appointment, and blame conservatives for compromise appointments. Bork wouldn't have gone along with this decision.

There is a lesson here for any appointments Bush makes: the liberals are going to hold you accountable for your appointments, so appoint your people, not compromises.
