We used to promote pork the same way. Then the packers started controlling our business and all the family owned pork producers went by the wayside. We couldn't go out and promote anymore because there weren't enough of us to do anything.

As long as people continue to believe that if we don't support the packers, then we will cut our own throats, then the possibility of what I talked about is alive. Sad, but true!!!
