Ryan is one person, and it is a proposal.. and most realize that the end result will look nothing like the proposal..

any American should realize that we need to address spending. the democrats and incumbent republicans avoided making any cuts...

so maybe a drastic proposal will get them to work on an actual solution.

Got to love it when Liberals in the comment section point the finger of blame for the debt on the Republicans when the world knows the Dems controlled the Congress and Senate IE HAD TO HAVE VOTED FOR ALL SPENDING BILLS IF THEY WERE TO PASS for the last two years of Bush's Presidency and Obama has tripled down on the debt in his first two years of his Presidency while the Dems. had total control of spending IE HAD TO HAVE VOTED FOR ALL SPENDING BILLS IF THEY WERE TO PASS. So blaming the Republicans for the debt is a bit stupid but then they are LIBERALS.

I recalled the loyal opposition whining about Bush running up big deficits with horrible, bloody, immoral wars and that was a bad thing according to them.

He also gave too many tax breaks to the wealthy....bad President.

So Obama comes along, continues the wars, adds another, quadruples spending AND extends the tax breaks to the wealthy.

But that's okay. :D

Clearly your' not spiteful enough to go into politics.

Tax Freedom Day® will arrive on April 12 this year, the 102nd day of 2011. That means Americans will work well over three months of the year, from January 1 to April 12, before they have earned enough money to pay this year's tax obligations at the federal, state and local levels.

Tax Freedom Day arrives three day later in 2011 than it did in 2010,
