Enforcer 107H
what is his story
In my opinion one of the best bulls ever. A bull from the 80's a son of Justa Banner two of the best. Breeder from Blairsville Georgia named Irvin Jones bought 1/4 interest in enforcer 107h for 250k. He borrowed the money from the local bank it was not one of them made up deals that seems to be the way breeders do business now days. 3 straws and a certificate brought $500.00 back then. irvin made over 1 million dollars in semen sales from his 1/4 interest. By the way this was way before all the hyped up and man made and inflated epd's. Most breeders have figured out how to make epd's show what they want them to show.
Only epd I NEED TO SEE IS THE CALVES AND MAMA COWS OUT OF A BULL IN THE FIELD.
He sold out in the mid to late 80's Kenny Rogers bought his holdings. The cattle he sold was around 500 head. Went out in the field one time there were 100 enforcer daughter in the field. You could not tell them apart. They were milkers also. Everyone of them was speckle faced mama's to be. I would give anything to be able to see afield full of them girls again!
then the train wreck happened her ford breeders were caught infusing Simmetal blood for milk and the rest was down hill for several years.
To be fair to the herford breeders the angus breeders were just as guilty of using another breed to get more milk. They used holstiens for milk and chi's for frame.
