Greg and I are hoping to get to Beechy Sat. for a wedding.Tell me if your leaving from East Central Alta.. What route would you take???

Depends on exactly where East central Alberta is.

You can come through on highway 7 through Alsask or highway 14 through Macklin. Either way, I believe you have to hit Delisle, then go south. Actually, just looking on the map, go a bit south of Rosetown, then east on 15, then south again to Dinsmore, and then straight south to Beechy on 42.

Sounds simple enough, eh? :)

I was just at a wedding in Beechy-whose tying the knot there. You can go east till you hit number four highway than head south and cut across to Beechy just north of Kyle. Hope your prepared to stay up late-those Beechyites like to watch the sun come up lol. If Greg likes to check out megamulies take the grid road 751 over to 42 south of Dinsmore than go straight south into Beechy. Your getting dangerously close to my happy hunting ground lol. Were branding calves Sunday only five hours north if you want to wrestle away your hangover lol.

Make sure you pack a camera once you cross into Saskatchewan the country is lousy with mule deer and moose-number three highway is pretty crappy too. Those maps are awesome-I fool around with maps and trips too.

Mrs. Greg; Lily knows her way around pretty good for a warm-weather fiend that won't come north for fear of seeing snow! Her first map is pretty good but continue south on # 4 from Rosetown to Kyle and cut east to Beechy........best road by far!! I'm just a hop and a skip from #4......could meet for coffee or a cold one if you have time. Enjoy your trip!

All I can find is Big Muddy Lake up there. It is on the map LOL

Shelly if I zoom in on the map more towns and smaller roads show up. but to fit the towns mentioned travelin thru on the screen I had to do it that way.

Come on Lilly; You'll have it a lot easier than the first Texan's that came north with the herd's!! :p :p (Beechy was the Matador's furthest north division). If you come right away we'll guarantee no snow but hurry the offer is only good until next week :!:

hahaha next week...sounds about right. Heck I remember one year goin to the top of Pikes Peak in mid July .....wearin shorts.......got to the top and it was a blizzard!!!!!!!! My favorite words that day were....."Git me down" (where it's warm)

If that happened...you'd have yerself a Texan Popcicle on yer hands. Either you'd hafta ship me home. Or keep me till next spring.....(my summer :p) till I thawed out and could come home.
