If you have read the manual, and followed those instructions to no avail, you may have to take it to a camera shop. Something on the computer is obviously glitching. I'm afraid I'm no camera whiz, much as I would like to be! :???:

What kinda camera is it? And does it have the option to completely turn the time and date off, or at least not put it in the corner of the photo? Mine has that option, I don't even bother with setting it, because when I download the pictures I do it in a file with that days date on it. My mom had a 35mm camera one time, that would put the date in the corner of the picture, I hated it!!!! ever since then any camera that I've had I turn that option OFF.

Actually it does have the off option...lasts for a minute and back on again....the funny thing is its on a date long before we got the camera. Its some thing called Centrious, came with the computer....we are planning on getting a real good one for the wedding, but in the meantime its frustrating.

Keep Greg right away from it!!!!!   The only option for fixing electronic stuff is to kidnap a kid (about 8-12 years old) and beg them to fix it. Works almost every time ........but you do have to put up with the "Jeez, everyone knows how to do that" or that certain look that pertains to dealing with clutzy old folks! :???: :???:  :lol2: :lol2: :lol2: :lol2:

Mine askes for me to set the date and time on it every time I charge the batteries and put them back in. I just click past that. But to turn the option off for the date being put onto the picture itself, Mine you hafta go into menu and change the settings. Probably under the set up mode.

Also, I did a lil research, and found a toll free number for that brand of camera.

1-866-363-3059 tech support. But you'll also need the model number from the camera when you call.
