Hi I gave my cows a scour vac and vira shield 6 vac 3 weeks ago. Gave dose as stated on bottle. Was give sub Q one shot on each side in front of the shoulder. Today one cow has large bump about the size of a soft ball. She is acting normal. What could the cause be ? Will it go away ? Is it something to worry about ?

Dirty needles, dull needles, cow was given a shot in a dirty place. That is ussually the case here my uncle is the biggest pig when it comes to give shots his motto is I not going to change that needle till it breaks. Every time he vaccinates animals he will use the same needle on every animal and then wonders why lumps start to show up. Not saying you are like that but I wouldn't worry to much it will go away with time.
