The boys and I travelled to the Kerrobert KCRA rodeo this weekend and it was quite the deal. Ty's travelling buddy Shane was about to cover his first bareback horse this year when it managed to catch a foot between a panel and a gate-it slingshotted Shane over the front end and under the fence knocked him clear out. Luckily the horse was knocked out too or it would of probably broke its leg. Shane realigned his marbles and got on a reride and it posted him pretty good-he was limping around when he noticed blood running out of his jeans-his knee looked like you hit it with an axe-so off to the hospital for stitching. Then at the dance that night some townies decided they were going to tune some cowboys and the usual festivities insued. I woke up Sunday A'M looked out the gooseneck window and saw bucking bulls everywhere-somebody had let all the roughstock and the petting zoo loose-not very often you get 21 poiint bulls and a lonely potbellied pig on the same drag lol. Ty won the Saddle Bronc and Bareback and emerged unscathed from the dance so things worked out pretty well. Next stop is St. Paul on Tuesday for the LRA finals-these will be the best horses he's ever met up with so should be fun.
