Thanks to Mitt Romney for this excellent summary...

"I'm convinced you are going to have the Democrats always whining about something. When we talk about their lack of experience they'll be whining. When we talk about the course they would have taken in Iraq and how bad it would have been for our country they'd be whining," Romney said. "It's going to be a lot of whining you are going to hear..."

What do you mean, "when"? Republicans are voting as a block to almost all of the legislation and then having Bush claim Congress can't get anything done.

Such a bunch of hypocrites.

The republican party needs new leadership if it is to survive.

The biggest Repub whine of all:

"George W. Bush is not a Conservative."

It makes me laugh out loud when I hear/see it.

Bush isn't a real conservative. He just stole the label. Unfortunately, he had a congressional leadership that allowed him to frolic in his folley. Meanwhile they enriched their friends and shunted the rest of the country and the ideal of democracy. It is the daddy's little rich and privileged boy syndrome.

The really bad thing is that he had the opportunity to be around such great conservative leaders and thinkers-- too bad it didn't rub off.

And which "great conservative leaders and thinkers" would that be?

Watch tv. A lot of them are mocking Bush right now.

I will have to admit what Greenspan said: "Clinton was the greatest republican president in recent history".

You have a point if you say republicans were polling, finding majority American values making it the platform that they never really believed or worked on. They have been just using us.
