R-Calf does Alabama

This is a quote concerning R-Calf's sweep through Alabama. I did not go to the meeting and did not even know when it was.
This is just what I hear.

"The R-CALF meetings that were held at auction markets in Dothan, Roanoke, Letohatchee and Russellville were non-eventful from reports I have received. Bill Bullard’s one hour + talk was filled with misinformation and the crowds were fairly small."

I think Mr. Bullard is wasting his time in Alabama. The Alabama Cattleman's association is way too strong.

Cattle farming group urges Country of Origin Labeling

Montgomery Advertiser

R-Calf USA, an organization for cow-calf producers, wants Country of Origin Labeling on beef at supermarkets.

R-CALF USA held its first Alabama meeting recently in Coosa County that drew more than 125 Alabama cattle producers.

The organization also wants the USDA and Congress to stop the country’s big four meat packers — Tyson Fresh Meats, Inc., Cargill Meat Solutions, Excel Corporation and Swift’s Company — from using captive beef supplies to control beef prices at the producer’s level.

R-Calf USA will have four more meetings in Alabama in the coming months. Contact James (Pete) Rodgers at (256) 245-2689.

You might want to question the source.

I do not belong to R-calf, Alabama, but this story tells it a little different than you do.
Whether a person belongs to any organization or which side of an issue they are on, to deliberately post BS is just that! BS!
